Playable ad

An interactive advertising creative that lets a viewer try a short, bounded experience before choosing the CTA.

In practice

A playable usually contains an opening state, one or more player inputs, visible feedback, an outcome, and a call to action. It may compress a real game mechanic or test an approved adjacent creative idea.

Do not confuse it with

A playable is not necessarily a full game demo, and interaction inside the ad is not evidence of an install or a valuable user. The package, host interface, and acceptance rules depend on the named destination.
