# Playable production scoping worksheet

Use this worksheet to count the work before requesting a volume-based quote. The price and deliverables are agreed in a written proposal after your brief is reviewed; sending a brief does not place an order.

## 1. Original masters

| Master ID | Audience promise | Core player action | States/outcome | Asset approach | New technical work |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| M01 | [fill] | [fill] | [fill] | [supplied / adapted / new] | [fill] |

A different core action or substantial new implementation normally creates another master.

## 2. Qualified variants

| Variant ID | Parent master | Exact changed dimension | Held constant | Asset dependency | Test decision |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| V01 | M01 | [hook / art / timing / difficulty / reward / copy / CTA] | [fill] | [fill] | [fill] |

If the parent master cannot support the change, move the row to the master table.

## 3. Languages

| Locale | Translation owner | Reviewer | Font/glyph status | Text-bearing art | Audio | CTA destination |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| [fill] | [fill] | [fill] | [fill] | [fill] | [fill] | [fill] |

## 4. Exports

Create one row for every creative × locale × network product that must be delivered.

| Creative ID | Locale | Orientation | Network/product/upload route | Package format | Official source + checked date | QA environment |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| [fill] | [fill] | [fill] | [fill] | [fill] | [fill] | [fill] |

## 7. Inputs for a negotiated quote

- Count new playable masters and the controlled variants you expect per delivery or per month.
- Note which accepted mechanics and production assets can be reused, and which need new work.
- Name the networks, orientations, languages, and export checks required for each deliverable.
- State the desired delivery rhythm, review rounds, source handoff, and any deadline dependencies.
- Ask the proposal to show the total fee, payment terms, deliverables, and how additional creative or a new mechanic would be priced.

More volume can change the per-creative rate when the work shares a reusable production system. Asset recovery, original art, complex 3D, unsupported engine conversion, new mechanics, and extensive localization need to be named in the scope when applicable. Media buying and performance analysis are separate from playable production unless specifically agreed.
